Account Overview

Your Transcribe account is the account you use to manage, review and access your completed orders on Transcribe.com.
This account allows you to view your order/purchase history, view order statuses, view and print invoices and download completed transcripts. The screen shots below will highlight the new features and describe the new functionality we have added. If you do not have a Transcribe.com account please visit our Log In/Create Account page to get started.

Accessing Your Account
Simply click the ‘Log In/Create Account’ link in the upper right-hand corner of the site to log in or create an account. Use the same credentials as when you signed up.
Your Account: Getting Started
The first time you login to your account you may not see any orders if you haven't placed any after creating an account. After you place your first order with an account, your My Orders page will update to display any orders placed. The My Orders page is divided into two main sections, Recent Orders, and Order History, as seen below in Figure 1.
My Orders Page
Any orders placed within the last 7 days will be featured in Recent Orders in a card-style format; a card is generated for each individual order placed. All orders, including those placed within the last 7 days will be aggregated in the Order History table below the Order Cards.
Orders Cards
As mentioned earlier, any orders placed within the last 7 days, will be featured in the Recent Orders section of the page and be displayed as an Order Card. No Order Cards will be shown if there haven’t been any orders placed within the last 7 days. Each card has 3 main parts (Order ID, Order Details and Order Status) in which various order details are contained for easy viewing at a glance. Below is an explanation of the card details.
1. Order ID
The Order ID is unique to each order. If you wish to view the order details for that order, click the Order ID link and you’ll be taken to the order details page.
2. Order Details
The main details about the order are displayed in this section, such as when the order was placed, delivery date, total order cost, additional options, if any, and more.
3. Order Status
This section displays the overall progress of your order. There are 2 states: In-Progress and Complete. There’s a visual indicator which shows the progress and how many files are completed. Once all files in the order have been transcribed, the status will change to Complete as seen in Figure 2.
Order History
The Order History table (Fig. 3) is an aggregate of all orders placed, regardless of time frame. All orders placed under any one account will be listed in this section. You can easily sort through pages of order history to locate a specific order. Below is a brief explanation of the columns and functionality.
Order ID
The Order ID is unique to each order. If you wish to view the details for that order, click the Order ID link and you’ll be taken to the order details page.
Ordered On & Deliver By
Ordered On is the date the order was originally placed on our website. Deliver By is the date we expect to have your order completed. Once an order is complete you will be able to download all files for that order. These columns are sortable.
File Count
The File Count column shows how many files were uploaded for that particular order as well as the total duration time for all files, listed as, h for hours, m for minutes and s for seconds.
Price
This is the total price for that order that was charged to your account at the time of checkout.
Status
There are two states to the status of an order, In-Progress and Complete. In-Progress means that some or all files have not been transcribed yet. Complete means that all files for that order have been transcribed and the transcripts are ready for you to download. If you wish to see individual file progress, you must click into the order details by clicking the Order ID link. Invoice If you would like to view or print an invoice simply click the View link, and the invoice will open in a new browser window. From there you can view, print and save your invoice.
Orders Details Page
You can view the details of any order by clicking the Order ID link from either the Order Card or the Order History table. Below is an example of that page (fig. 4). Below is a brief explanation of the columns and functionality.
In addition to showing complete order details, the main purpose of the order details page is to display individual file progress, and allow you to download completed transcripts when they become available. You can also view and print the order invoice from the View Invoice link which is located to the right of the order number, just above the status indicator (Fig. 4).
File ID
The File ID is a unique code we assign each file for reference in our system. Please refer to this ID when contacting support about a specific file issue.
File Name
The File Name is the name of the file or URL that was provided by you when the original order was placed. We do not change your original file names or extensions.
Duration
This is the total duration time for that individual file.
Notes
These are any file specific instructions that you provided to us when the order was placed.
Price
This is the individual transcription cost for that file.
Status
There are two states to the status of a file, In-Progress and Complete. In-Progress means that the file has not been transcribed yet. Complete means that the file has been transcribed, and the transcript is ready for you to download.
Transcript
From this column you can download your completed transcripts. If the status of a file is Complete, the download link and icon in the Transcript column will be blue and clickable, allowing you to download that transcript. If the link is grayed out, it means that file is still being transcribed. When all files are complete and ready to download, a notification email will be sent to your email account to alert you.
You can return to the My Orders page anytime by clicking the Home breadcrumb link.
